Open Ended Lokrite Backup Nut

The Opened-ended Lokrite Backup Nut ease fitting in tight spaces, where even access for a open-ended spanner is difficult.

The Lokrite open-end Backup Nut with locking bolt is a simple clever addition to your toolbox. It offers a tight radius nose, and a low height clearance for when a standard wrench wont fit and hold.

Like the standard Lokrite Backup Nut, it will hold in place by the embedded magnets in the tool, so they are always used "Hands Free".

For an area with height restrictions the locking cleat can be slid between the top of the stud or nut easily and under/beside any obstruction. Areas of restriction are inherent safety concerns even with a standard open-end wrench and the open-ended Lokrite Backup Nut address and overcome this issue.

The Open-Ended LOKRITE Nuts are available in the same sizes as the Chart on the left.

The difference between the two Types is the maximun Torque Capacity. The Open-Ended Type having around
2/3 the Torque Capacity of the Box Ened Type.

The Box Ended Types Torque Capacity exceeds that of the respective stud size each unit fits.
